Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) recruitment for 104 Constable in ITBPF against Sports Quota on temporary basis.

Indi-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) invites applications from Male and Female Indian Citizens for recruitment of Meritorious Sportspersons to the post of Constable (GD), Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial) for filling up 104 Vacancies. The last date for submission of applications is 31st October 2016.

Last date to apply : on or before 31/10/2016.
For remote areas : on or before 07/11/2016.

Name of the Post: Constable (GD) through Sports Quota.

Pay Scale: Level-3 in the Pay Matrix ₹ 21700-69100 (As per 7th CPC).

Age : 18-23 years as on 31-10-2016.
Age relaxation is applicable to 5 years is applicable to SC/ ST, 3 years for OBC candidates & for other refer notification published in Employment Newspaper dated Oct. 1 to 7.

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or 10th class pass..

Application Fee : Candidates belonging to General and OBC category shall be required to pay Rs. 100/- (Non refundable) as application fee in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favour of the DIG, BTC, ITBP for each post. Number and date of IPO should be mentioned on application form at earmarked space.

Note :
i) Application received with any other mode of Fee Payment shall be summarily rejected.

ii) No fee will be charged from SC, ST and Female candidates.

Selection Process: The eligible candidates shall be issued Admit cards to appear in recruitment test. The date and place of recruitment test will be indicated in Admit card. Candidates will have to undergo the following Tests:-

a) Checking of documents:The candidates will required to produce the original and attested photocopies of the documents related to his/her education qualification, proof of Date of birth, etc as mentioned in Para-10 above and also submit Sports achievement Certificates of the Sports discipline as per para-5(3). The original documents will be returned to the candidate on the spot after verification.

b) Physical Standard Test (PST) : Candidates found eligible in documentation will be screened for height, chest (chest measurement for male candidates only) and weight measurements by the Board. Those who do not meet the required physical measurements shall be eliminated at this stage.

c) Physical Endurance Test (PET) : Candidates who qualify in documentation and PST will undergo 01 mile race to be completed within 06 minutes 30 seconds (for male) and within 08 minutes 30 seconds (for female). No marks will be awarded for this test and PET will be qualifying in nature. The departmental candidates who have qualified Physical Test at the time of their appointment in the Force are not required to appear in the Race event.

d) Trial Test:Trial Test in respect of game for which a candidate has applied shall be taken to evaluate his/her performance of respective discipline/event by the Recruitment Board.

e) Merit List: Merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in the Trial Test, which shall include Sports achievements, performance in Trial Test and Technical opinion of the Trial Test Board.

In case of tie in marks, the candidate with higher marks in Sports achievements will be higher in merit. In case tie continues candidate younger in age will be higher in the merit. In case tie continues candidate whose name comes first in the alphabetic order (English) will be kept higher in the merit list.

How to Apply : Eligible and interested candidates should send their Applications (Offline mode), duly filled in Hindi or English only complete in all respects in the prescribed proforma. The application should be legible and either type written or neatly hand written with blue/black ink or ball pen on one side only, on full size plain paper with clear passport size photographs affixed at appropriate place on the application form.

The candidates should send their application form, along with fee (as applicable) and self attested copies of the testimonials reach to The Deputy Inspector General, BTC, ITB Police Force, Bhanu Camp, PO-Bhanu, Distt- Panchkula (Haryana) PIN-143103 on or before 31/10/2016 for all States except for Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, and Ladakh Division of Jammu & Kashmir Stete, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 07/11/2016.
