Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force invites Indian citizen for 683 posts of Inspector (General Duty) & SI

Applications are invited from Indian citizen for filling up approximate 683 (Six hundred eighty three) posts of Inspector (General Duty), Group 'B' Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) on transfer and deputation/re-employment basis. The vacancies are subjected to change (decrease or increase) at any stage.

Eligibility Criteria for ITBP Inspector Vacancy 2016:

Eligibility criteria:

By Deputation: Inspector (General Duty) in analogous scale from other Central Para Military Forces or Central Police Organizations or State Government Police Organizations. Note 1- The departmental officers in the feeder categories who in the direct line of promotion shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

Note 2- The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre held immediately preceding this appointment in same or some other organization or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

Note 3- The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding fifty-two (52) years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Note 4- For the purpose of appointment on deputation basis, the service rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior to 1.1.2006 the date from which the revised pay structure based on the 6th CPC recommendations has been extended, shall be deemed to service rendered in the corresponding pay band and grade pay or pay scale extended based on the recommendation of the Commission.

For Ex-servicemen

Deputation/Re-employment: The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and have the qualifications and being in Medical Category SHAPE-1 as prescribed above for promotion shall also be considered, such persons would be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due to release from the Armed Forces thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.

*Note 1: Names of those Non Ministerial/Non Technical Subedar, who are willing/eligible for deputation and also fulfill the conditions mentioned above at para of Re-employment will be considered for deputation/re-employment.

Note 2: Application of those Ex-serviceman Subedar and being retired before the closing date of receipt of application may not to be forwarded for deputation/re-employment.

Note 3: Ministerial/Technical/Ex-serviceman Subedar are not eligible for said deputation/re-employment.
